Broadband Access Program

The County of Haliburton has been working to provide businesses and citizens with broadband high speed internet access.

Many partner organizations have generously contributed their ideas and support. Notably, the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) have provided $1,000,000.00 to the most recent phase of the program.

The County realizes the importance of high speed internet and is working through many avenues to facilitate high speed service. We are currently working with several providers to try to get more of a presence in the County.
