Municipal GIS The initial GIS system is complete and available on the web to County and Township staff in various departments. There are over 100 map layers including streets, roads, properties, buildings, topographic data (lakes, wooded areas, contours), and environmentally sensitive areas, as well as associated databases for many features. Due to privacy of information, this site is restricted to county and township staff. Community GIS A subset of Municipal GIS data and functionality is now available for public use over the Internet. Users can view and print maps of any area of the county with an assortment of layers; search for lakes, settlements, streets, addresses, intersections, and much more. On-line help is available to assist users in getting started. Haliburton County Street Atlas This map book has been prepared for staff and emergency response personnel using the latest data available for the GIS, including current 9-1-1 street names and address number ranges. The Atlas contains 371 pages of maps covering the entire county and includes a user's guide and feature index, all of which are provided on this site for free downloading. The entire Atlas is also available for purchase as a hardcopy map book from the County Office. |
