The initial GIS system is complete and available on the web to County and Township staff in various departments. There are over 100 map layers including streets, roads, properties, buildings, topographic data (lakes, wooded areas, contours), and environmentally sensitive areas, as well as associated databases for many features. Due to privacy of information, this site is restricted to county and township staff.
A subset of Municipal GIS data and functionality is now available for public use over the Internet. Users can view and print maps of any area of the county with an assortment of layers; search for lakes, settlements, streets, addresses, intersections, and much more. On-line help is available to assist users in getting started.
