Demuth Forestry Service is a forestry consulting company which services both private and crown lands in the Haliburton, Minden and Bancroft areas. The key role of DFS is authoring and approving Managed Forest Plans for the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program (MFTIP), tree marking and silvicultural layout.
Ernie Demuth is the owner/operator of DFS and has been committed to the protection and sustainable use of the forests and wetlands in the Haliburton and Bancoft area for over 14 years.
DFS has been assisting landowners prepare their Managed Forest Plans for 6 years. Ernie is a certified Managed Forest Plan Approver for the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program (MFTIP). He can both author and approve these plans tailored to the landowners objectives at a fair price.
Before any logging operation tree marking should be performed on the land. Most counties in Ontario (including Haliburton)have adopted Tree Cutting By-Laws making this process necessary. Demuth Forestry Service has fully certified tree markers, who take pride in applying the tree marking principles to your land. This pride was gained through years of experience, education and hard work.
What our clients have to say:
" We had an excellent experience with Demuth Forestry Services! They were extremely detail oriented when it came to preparing our MFTIP plan. The friendly staff made multiple trips to our property where they not only informed us about the plan but educated us about other aspects of our forest such as wildlife and tree species. When it comes time to renew our MFTIP plan we will certainly be using Demuth Forestry Services. Thanks again!
