The next County Council meeting will be taking place on May 13th online and in person.
Please note this meeting will be taking place in Dysart et. al. Council Chambers at 135 Maple Ave., in Haliburton.

Rail Trail Opening May 4th

As of May 4th, the Rail Trail is open to all non-motorized activities and ATVs that have obtained a permit as outlined on the Haliburton County ATV Association website.

Eagle Lake CR#6 Re-Opened

Eagle Lake Rd (County Road #6) is now open to all traffic as of 3:30pm April 30th 2026.
Spring Load Restrictions Lifting

The County of Haliburton's Public Works Department has announced Half-load restrictions on County Roads will be lifted on May 7th 2026.
