Paudash Bridge Rehabilitation Work

Please note that County public works staff will be completing rehabilitation work on Paudash Bridge, located on County Road 9 (McGillivary Road), from April 21 through to October 30, 2025.

During this time you may experience delays when travelling in that area. Please remain cautious and safe in the construction zone.

Easter holiday hours for the County of Haliburton office

The office will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 8:30 a.m.

A new emergency department physician for Haliburton County

April 15, 2025

The County of Haliburton, along with the Haliburton Highlands Health Services (HHHS), is pleased to announce that Dr. Harrison Bishop will be joining the emergency department team as of July 1, 2025. 

Dr. Bishop attended medical school at the University of Queensland in Australia and completed Family Medicine residency at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He recently received additional certification...
