Annual construction projects are identified through a 10-year forecast process. The capital projects schedule below identifies current or proposed projects and estimated timelines for commencing projects.

Capital Projects Scheduled for 2022

The planned Public Works capital projects for 2022 are listed below. Please note that schedules are subject to change.

Ongoing Projects
County Rd 1 Rehabilitation of the Drag River Bridge
Drag River Bridge rehabilitation is on-going open to one lane of traffic using temporary traffic lights.  Expect delays due to lane restrictions. Please follow traffic control. Completion date fall 2022.
County Rd 1 Hot Mix Paving (Geeza Rd 4.5 kms to southern limit of Gelert Village)
Resurfacing process is continuing.  Loose gravel sections are expected.  Be prepared for delays.  Nearing completion.
 County Rd 8 Surface Treatment (Camp Dorset Rd 4.1 kms to McComb Point Dr)
Surface Treatment is now complete.  Loose gravel sections can be expected.  Awaiting pavement markings. 
County Rd 10 Rehabilitation of the York River Bridge
York River bridge rehabilitation is on-going open to one lane of traffic using temporary traffic lights.  Expect delays due to lane restrictions. Please follow traffic control. Completion date fall 2022.
County Rd 11 Surface Treatment (Hwy 118 5.9 kms to Oliver Rd)
Surface Treatment has been completed.  Loose gravel sections are expected.  Awaiting pavement markings. 
County Rd 11 Surface Treatment (2192 Kushog Lake Rd 6.8 kms to Hwy 35)
Surface Treatment has been completed.  Loose gravel sections are expected.  Awaiting pavement markings.  
County Rd 15 Surface Treatment (Yankton Lk 2.6 kms to 1km S of Kennaway Lk)
Surface Treatment is now complete.  Loose gravel sections can be expected.  Awaiting pavement markings. 
 County Rd 16 Hot Mix Paving (Hwy 35 3.5 kms to 0.8 km E of Bat Lake Rd)
Resurfacing process has begun.  Loose gravel sections are expected.  Be prepared for delays. 
County Rd 18 Surface Treatment (Tom Bolton Rd 3.7 kms to Williams Landing)
Surface Treatment has been completed.  Loose gravel sections are expected.  Awaiting pavement markings. 
County Rd 19 Surface Treatment (Pluto Trail 2.5 kms to Indian Point Rd)
Surface Treatment is now complete.  Loose gravel sections can be expected.  Awaiting pavement markings. 
County Rd 648 Rehabilitation of the Dark Lake Bridge
Dark Lake bridge rehabilitation is on-going open to one lane of traffic using temporary traffic lights.  Expect delays due to lane restrictions.  Please follow traffic control.  Completion date fall 2022.

 County Rd 648 Rehabilitation of the Lower Cup Lake Culvert
 Anticipated start the week of July 25 with temporary traffic control as required

 County Rd 1 Culvert Replacement
 Culvert replacement work has been completed in preparation for paving. Loose gravel sections can be  expected.  
County Rd 11 Replacement of 11 Culverts (Hwy 118 to Hwy 35)
Culvert replacement work has been completed in preparation for paving. Loose gravel sections can be  expected.  
County Rd 16 Replacement of 7 Culverts (Hwy 35 to Bat Lake Rd)
Culvert replacement work has been completed in preparation for paving. Loose gravel sections can be  expected.
