The Council for the Corporation of the County of Haliburton is hosting a public meeting regarding an application to the Province of Ontario by the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust for the creation of the proposed Milburn Kendrick Conservation Reserve on March 26, 2025, at the Lloyd Watson Memorial Community Centre in Wilberforce. The County of Haliburton has once again been recognized for creating an award-winning Hike Haliburton Festival.

2025 Spring Load Restrictions

Reduced Loading will be in effect in the County of Haliburton at 12:01 a.m. on March 10, 2025. The following roads will have a reduced load limit for their entire length: County Roads 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 39, 48, 507 & 648-with the exception from CR 10 west to HWY 118.
