County of Haliburton implements All-Way Stop in Eagle Lake to improve safety

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

October 22, 2025

Haliburton, ON – In response to safety concerns and rising traffic incidents, the County of Haliburton is installing an all-way stop control at the intersection of County Road 14 (Haliburton Lake Road) and County Road 6 (Eagle Lake Road) in the Municipality of Dysart et al. The installation for this new All-Way stop is scheduled for Thursday, October 23.

Administration office closure on October 13th

Please note the Haliburton County Administration office will be closed on Monday, October 13th for the Thanksgiving holiday. The office will reopen on Tuesday, October 14th at 8:30am. We wish everyone a happy and safe long weekend in the Haliburton Highlands.
