THE REHABILITATION OF APPROXIMATELY 8.0 KILOMETRES OF RURAL ROADWAY

LOCATION: Part A (4.5km)

County Road No. 1 (Gelert Road)

Rehabilitation of Rural and Semi-urban Section of Roadway

Commencing at Geeza Road and terminating at the South Limit of Gelert

Part B (3.5km)

County Road No. 16 (South Lake Road)

Rehabilitation of Rural Section of Roadway

Commencing at Highway 35 and terminating 0.8 km East of Bat Lake Road

SCOPE OF WORK:

Without limiting the generality of the contract, the work comprising the contract consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:

Pulverization of the existing road surface, re-shaping/grading and compaction of the road way cross-section.
The placement of quarried granite granular ‘A’ to the road base, shoulders and granular entrances, compacted and shaped to desired cross-fall, and placement of final shouldering material.
The supply and placement of 50mm compacted depth of HL4 hot mix asphalt.
Remove existing, and Supply & Install HDPE Culverts.
Remove and replace 3 Cable Guide Rail Wooden Posts.
