Due to an increasing number of confirmed COVID-19 cases throughout the Province of Ontario, now is the time to be hyper-vigilant as a community, for the protection of our families and neighbours. At this time, there has not been a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the County of Haliburton. The County’s administration office in Minden is closed to the public. This is a safety measure for both public and staff and has been taken in response to recommendations for social distancing.

Effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. (ET), the County of Haliburton has declared a state of Local Emergency in accordance with the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, R.S.O. 1990, c E.9 s.4 (1) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
