8 A.M.Information regarding August 27th County Council meetingThe County Council meeting will be taking place on August 27th in the County Council Chambers at 11 Newcastle St. at 9:00am.
County wide fire ban in effectEffective at noon on Tuesday, Aug 5, 2025, there will be a total fire ban throughout the County of Haliburton, including the townships of Algonquin Highlands, Minden Hills, Highlands East and Dysart et al. This means no outdoor burning any time of day or night.
