    County of Haliburton wins award for Hike Haliburton Festival

    The County of Haliburton has much to celebrate, as they were recently named the recipient of an award for Hike Haliburton by Festivals and Events Ontario.

    The provincial organization named Hike Haliburton as one of the top 100 Festivals in Ontario at an awards gala held on February 28, 2024.

    County Road Load Restrictions

    2024 SPRING LOAD RESTRICTIONS

    UPDATE:  All Load Restrictions will be lifted on County Roads on Monday, April 29, 2024.  

    Under the Highway Traffic Act and County By-Law #2216, the County of Haliburton enforces reduced load restrictions on trucks to protect the County roadways during spring thaw, when road damage is most likely to occur.
