Shoreline Tree Preservation By-law (3505, as amended)
The Shoreline Tree Preservation By‐law No. 3505, as amended, only applies to lands that are within 30 metres of a watercourse in the geographic boundaries of the Municipality of Dysart et al. The Shoreline Preservation By-law (No. 4169) applies to the rest of the County of Haliburton.
The Shoreline Tree Preservation By‐law governs the removal or injuring of all trees within 30 m of a waterbody. The goal is to minimize the destruction of trees in order to protect our water resources and sustain a healthy natural environment.
